Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Rockingham Dental Group – Exeter in Exeter, NH. This full-time role runs Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7am to 7pm, with compensation ranging from $25 to $29 per hour plus benefits.

You’ll greet patients, review health histories, take x-rays, and provide chairside assistance across procedures. Dentrix software and OSHA/CDC safety practices are part of daily operations, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

X-ray certification may be required per state dental practice act.
Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, provide education throughout treatment.
Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists during procedures.
Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare treatment room following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
Manage supply and inventory levels and place/expedite orders as needed.
Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
