Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners in Plano, TX is seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist to be the first contact for patients and support smooth practice operations.

You will greet patients, schedule and confirm appointments, handle phones, verify insurance, process payments, and maintain accurate records. This role requires 3+ years in front office, Dentrix knowledge, and a client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a Dental Front Office role.
  • Knowledge of Dentrix preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Dental Receptionist - Dental Implant and Perio Partners

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Schedule: Full Time, Mon & Wed 7:30am-5:00pm, Tues & Thurs 7:30am-4:00pm, Fridays 7:30am-noon
