The Dental Provider Network Contractor/Network Recruiter develops the provider network (dentists, ancillary groups & facilities, etc.) to yield a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance and trend management, producing an affordable and predictable product for customers and business partners. Responsibilities include evaluating and negotiating contracts in compliance with company standards, reimbursement structures, and process controls. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with dentists, ancillary groups, facilities, and providers, ensuring appropriate provider distribution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify, recruit, negotiate, and contract dental providers within established guidelines to meet network needs.
• Build and expand existing EPO, PPO, and Discount networks in Georgia; secondary responsibilities may include Medicare Advantage and Medicaid products in select markets.
• Ensure provider database accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
• Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
• Provide explanations and information within area of expertise.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of provider relations or network contracting experience.
• Dental office experience.
• Medicaid/Medicare experience.
• Exceptional sales presentation skills in high-pressure environments.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
• Travel required (up to 30%).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator/Dental Office Manager experience administering multiple plan types.
• Dental industry knowledge.
• Knowledge of DHMO, Direct Compensation, PPO, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement methodologies.
• Salesforce experience.

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually, based on full-time employment. Compensation considers factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group complies with all applicable minimum wage laws. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, stock purchase options, and a 401k plan. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
