Advanced Laser & Cosmetic Dentistry in Crystal Lake, IL seeks a Full-Time Practice Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, front desk coordination, production and collections goals, and a positive workplace culture.

The role requires leadership of staff, collaboration with clinical teams, and a focus on patient experience and financial health of the office. Strong organizational, communication, and dental terminology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a dental office.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
• Proficient in using dental office software and general office applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and performance of the practice.
• Maintain visibility into staff roles, responsibilities, and task completion.
• Lead daily morning huddles and manage schedules, metrics, and priorities.
• Schedule and lead monthly staff meetings with the Area Manager.
• Partner with Area Manager for staff performance reviews.
• Train and onboard new team members; approve time off requests.
• Coordinate coverage for vacations, illnesses, and absences.
• Monitor production and collection goals; oversee accounts receivable.
• Process payroll and ensure timekeeping accuracy.
• Ensure end-of-day balancing and timely cash deposits.
• Greet patients, answer phones, schedule/confirm appointments, and review treatment plans.
• Prepare docs, post charges, collect payments, and verify chart entries.
