Job summary

Lake Jackson Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator (HC) to partner with supported Dentists to drive case acceptance through clear financial options and urgent treatment planning. You will educate patients on treatment choices, overcome objections, and support a Perfect Patient Experience to build Patients for Life.

This role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work closely with clinic teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be willing to travel between offices.
• Knowledge of office practices, patient insurances, and dental workflows is required.
• Experience or training in dentistry, insurance, or business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Dentists to obtain patient financial commitments for treatment.
• Educate patients on treatment options and financial plans to support case acceptance.
• Assist patients in making informed decisions for their care.
• Support daily clinic operations and maintain PPE and patient experience standards.
• Obtain pre-authorizations for treatments as needed.
• Participate in team huddles and meetings; support clinic metrics and brand standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to compliance policies.
• Travel between offices as required.
