Job summary

Cumming Endodontics in Cumming, GA is seeking an experienced Dental Patient Care Coordinator for our front desk. You will greet patients, schedule visits, answer questions about services and insurance, and assist with billing and records.

This full-time role supports our compassionate endodontic team and ensures smooth patient flow. Qualifications include at least 1 year in dental/medical patient coordination, strong communication, and HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental/medical Patient Care Coordinator experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of dental insurance and healthcare policies (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing.
• Verify and process patients’ dental insurance.
• Review treatment plans, insurance, and out-of-pocket costs with patients.
• Collect patients’ co-insurance at time of service and after service when necessary.
• Enter patient information accurately into practice management software.
• Coordinate appointments and dental record transfers with referring practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and doctors to ensure seamless patient care.
