Job summary

United Health Centers is seeking a Dental Supervisor to oversee the dental support staff across multiple sites and ensure efficient daily operations. The role focuses on patient flow, scheduling accuracy, staff leadership, and adherence to UHC policies.

The supervisor reports to the Health Center Manager. Responsibilities include supervising Dental Assistants and Receptionists, coaching staff, assisting with recruitment, and coordinating audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid RDA California License or DA Certificate required.
• Lifesaving Certification and Driver's License required.
• 2 years supervisory/management experience in dental setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Dental Assistants and Dental Receptionists across sites.
• Coordinate provider appointment schedules and templates.
• Coach, train and develop staff; assist with recruitment.
• Ensure DA/RDA functions and coverage when needed.
• Coordinate site audits and data entry corrections; maintain patient flow.
