Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience managing dental department operations in FQHCs or similar healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes (PPO, HMO, Medicaid if applicable), and coding workflows.
• Experience with revenue cycle management and medical billing and coding.

Responsibilities

• Supervises dental support staff and manages scheduling, performance evaluations, and coaching.
• Ensures accurate charge capture, documentation, and billing compliance; monitors claim denials and root causes.
• Partners with marketing and leadership to promote dental services and drive community referrals.
