Tempe Dental Care in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations and support a dental team for Tue-Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. This role offers a three-day weekend and a compensation range of $27-$34 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous office management or supervisory experience in a dental practice.
• Familiarity with dental office operations, insurance, billing, and collections.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems independently.
• Professional, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor.
• Comfortable working with practice management software; Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to support a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dental office operations and administrative workflows.
• Lead, train, and support front-office and clinical team members.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, performance feedback, and day-to-day office needs.
• Monitor accounts receivable, billing, collections, and financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end reconciliation, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and improve office procedures and practice policies.
• Address patient concerns and employee issues professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate relationships with vendors and outside service providers.
• Work closely with the practice owner and doctors to meet operational goals.
• Help maintain a positive, organized, and patient-focused work environment.
