Job summary

Kaneʻohe Family Dental Care, part of Kokua Smiles and Rising Tide Dental Partners, is seeking a Dental Office Manager in Kaneohe, HI. You will lead the front office, manage scheduling and billing, and collaborate with doctors and clinical staff.

Requirements include at least 2 years of dental office experience and supervision experience; knowledge of dental insurance and billing is essential; Open Dental is a plus. Monday–Friday schedule with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of dental office experience (required)
• Management or supervisory experience (required)
• Working knowledge of dental insurance, billing, accounts receivable, and collections
• Good communication with patients and staff, and the ability to solve problems as they come up
• Open Dental experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Running the daily schedule and handling patient communication
• Hiring, training, and supervising the front office team
• Coordinating with the clinical team so patient visits run smoothly
• Insurance verification, billing, A/R, and collections
• Keeping patient records accurate and confidential (HIPAA)
• Spotting things that aren't working in the office and fixing them
