Job summary

Smiles 4 Kids Dental in Tacoma 72nd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager who thrives in a kid-friendly, team-focused environment. You will oversee daily operations, scheduling, staffing, and patient flow to deliver exceptional care for children and their caregivers.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of management experience, at least 3 years in dental settings, and proficiency with Denticon and Microsoft Office. This is a full-time role with benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience.
• A minimum of 3 years dental experience required.
• Working knowledge of clinical operations.
• Proficiency in dental software (Denticon highly preferred) and Microsoft Office is required.
• Payroll processing experience is a plus!
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the operations workflow daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Ensure office is scheduled with confirmed patients.
• Maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
• Develop, coach, and inspire other team members to grow.

A Typical Day As An Operations Manager

• Managing the operations workflow daily, weekly, and monthly
• Ensure office is scheduled with confirmed patience
• Maintaining appropriate staffing levels
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
• Develop, coach, and inspire other team members to grow

Schedule

• 8+-hour shifts
• Occasional Saturday work
• Occasional travel to surrounding offices as needed
• Daytime hours – No nights!
• Availability to respond to patient and employee issues outside normal work hours (within reason)
• Saturday work as needed
