  • Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression.
  • Manage front office duties: answering phones, checking mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • File insurance claims, follow up on claims, verify benefits, explain coverage.
  • Post payments and process accounts receivables.
  • Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
  • Partner with the team to implement systems to optimize office potential.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must protect PHI and complete HIPAA training.
Preferred Experience
  • 1+ years in dental or medical setting.
  • 1+ years in insurance billing and accounts receivable.
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar software.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform duties with or without accommodation.
  • Sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically.
  • TB test required before employment, arranged during pre-employment, except in FL & TN.
