Job summary

National Dentex, LLC in Traverse City, MI seeks a Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee to join NDx DH Baker Dental Laboratory. Responsibilities include reading prescriptions, scanning models into the 3Shape System, and ensuring accurate results under SOPs.

The role requires strong computer skills, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dental lab environment. Regular hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and able to follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong reading, listening and comprehension skills to interpret prescriptions and specs.
• Ability to read and understand English and work with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist.
• Scan model work into 3Shape System following SOPs.
• Ensure steps are followed for consistent, accurate results.
• Verify scans and material entry for each case.
• Review all paperwork for correct information.
• Pre-stain units per SOP.
• As progress occurs, may assist in product design.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX DH Baker Dental Laboratory in Traverse City, MI.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Scan model work into 3shape System following standard operating procedures
• Insure all steps are followed to insure consistent, accurate results
• Verify Scan is correct and materials have been entered correctly
• Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information
• Pre-stain units following SOP directions
• As abilities progress, may include introduction to designing of products
• All other duties as assigned
