Friendly Dental Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Credentialing Coordinator to act as the primary liaison between our practices and insurance carriers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across locations.

You will manage provider and location credentialing, lead recredentialing, support fee negotiations, and resolve insurance issues while collaborating with senior management to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of dental insurance experience
• Strong working knowledge of credentialing and payer processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
• High attention to detail and comfort managing multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
• Professional, solutions-oriented approach when working with carriers and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between our dental practices and dental insurance companies
• Manage provider credentialing (new providers, updates, and ongoing maintenance)
• Manage location credentialing for new and existing practice locations
• Lead recredentialing and ongoing updates for dentists and related documentation
• Support fee negotiations and maintain payer rate documentation
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve dental insurance issues efficiently and professionally
• Partner with Senior Management to help ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations and requirements
