Specialty1 Partners in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our busy Queen City Endodontics - Lake Norman practice. You will verify coverage, assist patients with estimated costs, and submit claims.

The role requires 1–2 years of dental insurance experience, strong communication, detail orientation, and proficiency with dental practice management software and Microsoft Office. Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm; competitive benefits and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in dental insurance coordination or similar work.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as dental insurance coordinator or similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accurate records.
• Proficient in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills for insurance claim discrepancies and denials.
• Professional and patient-centric attitude.

Responsibilities

• Verify patients' dental insurance coverage and benefits.
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for treatments.
• Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs.
• Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail.
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies and industry changes.
• Collaborate with the front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance-related inquiries and concerns.
• Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services.
• Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm.
• Assist with other office responsibilities as needed.
