Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support dentists in prosthodontics, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include preparing operatories, assisting with denture procedures, taking impressions, educating patients, and maintaining strict infection control in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (state dependent).
• Strong communication and patient service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional chairside support and create a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials for each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists with denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments as directed.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist supervision.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and related duties as permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, and home care.
• Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental X-rays in accordance with certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and keep a clean, organized clinical space.
• Travel for training and continuing education as needed.
