Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to provide chairside support across dentures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics. You will work with experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high-quality tooth replacement services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required where state law dictates.
• Strong communication and patient service skills essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional chairside support and guide patients through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during dentures, implants, oral surgery, extractions and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites as directed by dentist.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs and other duties where permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures and aftercare.
• Document patient histories, treatment information and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in line with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel for training and CE as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support patient care.
