Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and support denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics. You will work alongside experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals to deliver high-quality tooth replacement solutions to patients.

You will prepare operatories, assist with implants and prosthetic treatments, take impressions and X-rays, and educate patients on care and financial packages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (state requirements) preferred or required by state.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient.
• Assist dentists during dentures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take alginate denture impressions and prepare wax bites under direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, relines, repairs, and other duties as permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implants, and post-operative care.
• Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs per state requirements.
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards.
• Monitor and assist with inventory of supplies.
• Support daily front-desk and clinical operations; travel for training as needed.
