Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced prosthodontic practice. You’ll provide exceptional chairside support, assist with denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics, while educating patients and maintaining high infection control standards.

You will work alongside experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals, with opportunities for continued training and career growth as the practice expands its

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient care and create a welcoming experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with alginate denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, repairs and expanded duties as allowed by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post‑op care and financial packages.
• Document patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) per state requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and keep a clean clinical environment.
• Travel for training and continuing education as needed.
