Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants seeks a compassionate Dental Assistant to join the team, supporting chairside care across denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required where state law requires.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in through treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during dentures, dental implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments as allowed by state regulations.
• Take and assist with denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under dentist direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, and repairs where permitted by state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, post-op care, and home care instructions.
• Record patient medical histories, treatment information, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilization standards.
