Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants in Texas is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll provide chairside support during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery and removable prosthetics while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You’ll prepare operatories, take X-rays where required, maintain infection control, educate patients on treatment options, and support the office with accurate records and inventory management in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support during treatments.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Assist during denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, and repairs as allowed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and financial options.
• Document patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs per state requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilization.
• Monitor inventory and assist with supplies.
• Support daily office operations and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Travel occasionally for training and CE opportunities.
