Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to support denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics. The role offers exposure to a prosthodontic specialty and collaboration with experienced dentists and in-house lab professionals.

You will prepare operatories, manage patient records, assist during procedures, and ensure strict infection control while fostering a patient-centered experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification required where state law requires it.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials for each patient appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, dental implants, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments as allowed by state law.
• Take and assist with denture impressions and wax bites under dentist direction.
• Support denture insertions, adjustments, relines, and repairs as permitted by state regulations.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, options, post-op care, and financial packages.
• Record patient histories and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs per state certification requirements.
• Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments. Travel for training as needed.
