Job summary

DOCS Dental on Army and Air Force bases seeks a Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to deliver prophylaxis, periodontal assessment, and preventive care. You will document findings, support treatment planning, and educate patients in a team-based, compliant environment.

Ideal candidates hold an active Kentucky RDH license with 1–2 years of clinical experience, current X-ray and CPR/BLS certifications, and familiarity with Denticon.

Qualifications

• Active RDH license in Kentucky required.
• 1–2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification.
• Familiarity with Denticon; training provided.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
• Real ID driver's license or ability to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis, including subgingival debridement.
• Assess and document periodontal conditions, including gingivitis and periodontitis.
• Apply fluoride and preventive therapeutic agents.
• Record clinical findings and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Present treatment plans and provide oral hygiene instruction.
• Obtain dental radiographs and impressions; maintain accurate clinical records.
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to patients.
• Participate in required daily and weekly team meetings.

Schedule

Thursday & Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.
