Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Bowie, MD is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to provide quality care for pediatric patients across Bowi,e Lanham, and Largo offices. The role emphasizes creating fun, low-stress visits and building healthy habits for kids.

The position offers 8-hour shifts, Saturday work, and daytime hours with no night shifts. Applicants should hold a dental hygiene license and be ready to join a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current license & graduation from a dental hygiene program.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred, but we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis.
• Deliver high quality patient care.
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic.
• Screen patients to include a full medical history and take vital signs.
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, calls, triage and other office duties.

Requirements

• Current license & graduation from a dental hygiene school is required
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred, but we will train the right person!
• Additional certification or training is a plus
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.
• Full‑time role (30+ hours per week).

A Typical Day As a Dental Hygienist

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis

• Screen patients to include a full medical history and take patient vital signs
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, telephone calls, routine triage and other office duties as required.

Schedule

• 8‑hour shifts
• Saturday's
• Daytime hours – No nights!
