Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Norcross, GA is seeking a reliable, energetic Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric-focused team. You will deliver high-quality patient care to kids and teens, chart conditions, and assist with local anesthesia as needed.

Requirements include a current dental hygiene license, graduation from an accredited program, and at least 1 year of experience. We value teamwork, compassion, and ongoing learning; full-time hours, 30+ per week, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license in dental hygiene and graduation from an accredited hygiene program.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred; we will train the right candidate.
• Familiarity with Denticon or iTero is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis.
• Deliver high quality patient care to pediatric patients.
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic as needed.
• Screen patients, take medical histories and vital signs.
• Set up dental equipment and prepare instruments; assist with reception tasks when required.

Requirements

• Current license & graduation from a dental hygiene school is required
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred, but we will train the right person!
• Additional certification or training is a plus
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.
• Full-time role (30+ hours per week).

A Typical Day as a Dental Hygienist

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis
• Deliver high quality patient care
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic
• Screen patients to include a full medical history and take patient vital signs
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, telephone calls, routine triage and other office duties as required

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Daytime hours – No nights
