Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Boise, ID is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric-focused team. You will work with children and their caregivers to provide quality preventive care in a friendly, stress-free environment.

Current dental hygiene license required; 1 year of experience preferred. Denticon experience is a plus. Schedule features daytime hours with no night shifts, and a supportive, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Current license and graduation from a dental hygiene program are required.
• 1 year of experience preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Additional certification or training is a plus.
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Chart conditions based on Doctor's diagnosis.
• Deliver high quality patient care.
• Assist with administering local injectable anesthetic.
• Screen patients to include full medical history and vital signs.
• Set up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, calls, triage and other office duties.

A Typical Day As a Dental Hygienist

• Prepare reports and assist with patient reception, telephone calls, routine triage and other office duties as required.
