Cape Cod Community College seeks an instructor to deliver Dental Hygiene III (DEN230) in Fall 2026, a 2-credit course integrating theory, knowledge, and research into patient care. The role focuses on evidence-based practice and case-based learning with emphasis on applying knowledge to planning and managing care across diverse patients.
Applicants must hold a Massachusetts Dental Hygiene License and have teaching experience; a Master’s degree or Dental Degree is required, plus unrestricted U.S.
Provide instruction for Dental Hygiene III (DEN230) to dental hygiene students in the Fall 2026 semester. This 2-credit course emphasizes evidence-based research and case-based learning to integrate elements of theory, knowledge, and research into patient care. Students explore a deeper level of published research and complete a research project. Students apply accumulated knowledge to plan and manage care for a variety of patients utilizing risk assessment and the dental hygiene process of care. An exploration into dental specialty practices will be provided, focusing on the hygienist's role in each specialty.

Anticipated starting salary - Step I DCE PayScale (currently $3,024 for 2-credit course). Part-time, non-benefited, DCE/MCCC Unit Position.
