Cape Cod Community College invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach English Composition courses for Fall 2026 (Sept 2–Dec 30). The role requires a Master's in English and college teaching experience, with a commitment to DEI and UDL, and unrestricted US work authorization.
Responsibilities include delivering instruction, selecting materials, tracking progress, maintaining records, and posting the syllabus on Moodle.
Provide instruction to students in English Composition course(s) during the Fall 2026 semester (September 2, 2026 - December 30, 2026). The instructor will teach one or more of the following courses: English Composition I (ENL101); English Composition II (ENL102); and/or Critical Reading and Thinking (ENL108). These courses are entry‑level college composition courses designed to strengthen students' reading, writing, critical thinking, and research skills.
Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as noted above are encouraged to upload a separate statement to define precisely how their background and experience have prepared them with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required for the responsibilities of this position.
Anticipated starting salary - Step I DCE Pay Scale (presently $4,536 for 3-credit course). Part-time, non-benefited DCE/MCCC Unit position.

This appointment is subject to the FY2027 budget appropriations. Appointment subject to SORI (Sex Offender Registry Information), publicly accessible Massachusetts CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and national background checks.
