Job summary

The Dental Office of Carson is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with supported dentists, helping patients understand financial options and begin urgent treatment while maintaining a Perfect Patient Experience.

You will educate patients on treatment choices, overcome objections, secure pre-authorizations, and keep schedules productive, with emphasis on clinical excellence and a patient-for-life approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Travel between offices may be required.
• Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred.
• Knowledge of patient insurance and financial options is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Model company culture, values, standards, and best practices.
• Gain a financial commitment from patients to start recommended treatment.
• Assist patients in making decisions using available financial options.
• Execute HC handoffs in partnership with clinicians on each exam.
• Explain available financial options to fit patients’ budgets.
• Overcome common objections and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory bodies.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings as required.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
