Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator to partner with supported Dentists and help patients start the best course of treatment with urgency. You will educate patients on treatment choices, discuss financial options, and work to gain commitments while maintaining a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE).

You will support the Dentists’ schedules and drive patient care forward. Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to travel between offices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to travel between offices may be required.
• Knowledge of office practices, technology applications and patient insurances.
• Financial acumen to discuss options and funding with patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Dentists to secure financial commitments for treatment.
• Educate patients on treatment options and financial plans.
• Explain and compare insurance and financing options to patients.
• Keep Dentist schedules productive and manage patient flow.
• Overcome common patient objections to start care.
• Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support daily team meetings and departmental goals.
