As a Front Office staff member, you will perform a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  1. Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
  2. Verifying insurance for all clinical appointments.
  3. Collecting all monies due for services rendered.
  4. Developing and maintaining doctor/hygiene schedules as necessary.
  5. Greeting and checking patients in and out, before and after treatment.
  6. Educating, consulting, and presenting patient treatment plans.
  7. Managing accounts receivable, including sending billing statements, aging reports, and collections, if applicable.
  8. Filing insurance pre-determinations.
  9. Conducting financial consultations with patients when new treatment plans are presented, as applicable.
  10. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  11. A minimum of two years of front office experience, preferably in a dental setting.
  12. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  13. Knowledge of dental software is strongly preferred.
