Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Receptionist for Dental Care of Harrisburg. The role focuses on front-desk duties, patient greeting, scheduling with Dentrix, and insurance processing. You will collaborate with providers to ensure smooth office operations and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric dental front desk roles.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Access to minimum PHI and HIPAA training is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Handle front office duties: phones, mail, emails, & messaging with patients/insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
• Process insurance claims and follow up on benefits and coverage.
• Post payments and manage accounts receivable.
• Review treatment fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
