Price-Denton Endodontics seeks a Front Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in/check-out, explaining costs, and answering calls in a fast-paced dental setting.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset, with experience in dental front desk and insurance basics. Training will cover dental software and HIPAA practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of dental front desk experience preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of dental insurance.
• Proficiency with computer-based tasks.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Efficiently check patients in and out.
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
• Collect and post payments accurately.
• Assist with patient paperwork and medical history updates.
• Document accurate notes and records in patient accounts.
• Manage communication with referring practices.
• Perform administrative office tasks using a computer and dental software.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
