Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to create a positive first impression.
• Manage front office duties: phones, mail/email, and communication with patients and insurers.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records; coordinate appointments for multiple providers.
• File insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits and coverage.
• Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivable.
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.
