Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join our supportive team. You’ll be the liaison between patients, clinicians, and the business side, helping patients understand treatment options and navigate financial plans with care and clarity.

You’ll educate patients on benefits, conduct financial consultations, and manage scheduling, payments, and insurance interactions while delivering the welcoming experience our practice is known for.

Qualifications

• Previous front office dental experience required.
• Comfort with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements preferred.
• Experience with dental/medical practice management software a plus.
• Initiative, dependability, and promptness.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sit down with patients to understand oral health history and goals.
• Walk patients through treatment plans and answer questions.
• Help patients prioritize treatment and plan scheduling and payments.
• Lead financial consultations for new patients and new treatment plans.
• Educate patients on dental benefits and how they apply to treatment.
• Handle insurance billing, payment posting, and claim estimations.
• Monitor patient accounts and support collections as needed.
• Greet and check patients in and out before and after treatment.
• Answer incoming calls from new patients, emergencies, scheduling, records requests.
