Job summary

Summit-Dental-Health in South Sioux City, NE, is seeking a friendly Business Associate to be the welcoming face of the practice. This on-site, part-time role (20 hours weekly) involves answering calls, handling patient referrals, posting charges, verifying insurance, and communicating financial details to patients.

The successful candidate will support efficient operations, maintain scheduling, and participate in recall programs to help grow the office.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Strong communication skills required.
Eager to learn and grow within the role.
Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

Answers the telephone in a timely and professional fashion.
Assists in maintaining efficient and profitable operations by handling patient referrals, supplies, and posting charges accurately.
Verifies and communicates insurance details to clinical staff and patients.
Communicates financial obligations to patients and notes them for procedures.
Ensures accounts are credited when payments are received.
Follows scheduling guidelines to maintain a manageable dentist/hygienist schedule.
Participates in recall programs to achieve goals.
