Job summary

Wiswall Endodontics in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a friendly Dental Receptionist to be the first point of contact and ensure an excellent patient experience. You will support scheduling, billing, and records while upholding HIPAA standards in a busy endodontic practice.

The role is full-time, Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm and every other Friday 7am-1pm, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and wellness programs. You will join a patient-centered team dedicated to quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, healthcare, scheduling or patient-facing roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with strong data entry abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and maintain a welcoming, professional environment.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries; manage patient communications.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
• Process payments, manage billing, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry.
• Coordinate patient flow and provide administrative support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
