Job summary

University Ave Dental in Blaine, MN is seeking a friendly, organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our front-office team. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, help them feel welcome, manage scheduling, and guide them through payments and insurance explanations.

Dental experience is welcome but not required. If you bring strong customer service, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Dental or medical billing, scheduling, or front-office experience is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to office software and processes.
• Strong communication and people skills in a patient-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, assist patients, and schedule appointments.
• Help maintain productive schedules and fill appointment openings.
• Welcome patients and coordinate check-in and checkout.
• Collect payments and explain treatment estimates and patient balances.
• Help patients understand insurance benefits and available payment options.
• Support insurance verification, claims, and follow-up alongside the office manager.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with the clinical team.
• Focus on phones, scheduling, and collecting payments; other billing tasks handled by the office manager.
