Specialty1 Partners in Fort Myers is seeking a Patient Scheduler to join our busy dental specialty practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients and referral offices, handling front desk duties and ensuring a positive experience.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of scheduling or customer service experience, strong communication, and proficiency with dental software. A high school diploma is required. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a scheduler in a dental environment or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with patients and the dental team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and referral offices via phone.
• Direct callers to the appropriate department or individual as needed.
• Assess, document, and communicate post-surgical questions and concerns to RN using clinical messaging.
• Schedule patient consultations and surgical procedures in the EMR system, following established policies and protocols.
• Accurately complete insurance verification forms and obtain necessary insurance information.
• Educate patients on in-network and out-of-network insurance policies and procedures.
• Reschedule appointments as needed due to schedule changes.
• Perform additional duties such as patient registration, EMR data entry/scanning, and chart preparation.
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and model the Practice’s values.
