Young Family Dental of American Fork is seeking a dedicated Front Desk team member to support daily front-office operations and ensure a positive patient experience.

You will handle patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, and payments while maintaining confidential records and HIPAA compliance. This role collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in dental/medical front office experience.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation.
• Proficient in dental practice management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Register new patients and update patient information in practice management systems.
• Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment calendar.
• Complete recalls and patient callbacks to support schedule utilization.
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients regarding scheduling, general inquiries, and administrative questions.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and patient-focused demeanor at all times.
• Escalate complex or sensitive patient concerns to the Office Manager or Office Manager Assistant.
