Virginia Family Dentistry seeks an experienced Front Desk Scheduler to join our Atlee team. The role involves clerical duties, answering phones, greeting patients, updating records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining efficient scheduling.

Formación

• 1 year or more of dental office experience.
• Attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Review schedules daily to fill open appointment times.
• Confirm, schedule, and follow up on unscheduled appointments.
• Greet patients, answer telephones, and check office emails daily.
• Run necessary patient reports and follow up on treatment calls.
• Ensure all patient appointment information is up to date (insurance, address, contact info, appointment times).
• Coordinate with insurance coordinator on pre-treatment cost estimates or insurance needs.
• Communicate with accounts receivable coordinator about balances or payment arrangements.
• Coordinate with specialists or hygiene coordinators as needed.
• Review treatment plans with patients to explain needed treatment and insurance coverage.
