Job summary

The HealthCare Connection in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Dental Patient Services Specialist to greet and register patients, verify demographics and insurance details, and collect payments. You will schedule appointments, assist with forms, and support the Finance team with patient balances in a fast-paced, welcoming front desk role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Familiarity with EHR systems; NextGen experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resume must be attached to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients upon arrival
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Collect payments and co-pays for services
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork
• Work with the Finance department regarding patient balances
• Support administrative and reporting tasks as needed
