Job summary

The HealthCare Connection in Mt. Healthy, OH is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to greet patients, verify demographics, and collect payments at the front desk. You will support scheduling and paperwork while upholding a welcoming, patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in a clinical setting, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems. Bilingual abilities are desired to serve our diverse community.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Familiarity with EHR systems; NextGen experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resume must be attached to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients upon arrival.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collect payments and co-pays for services.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments.
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork.
• Work with the Finance department regarding patient balances.
• Support administrative and reporting tasks as needed.
