Job summary

Patterson Dental is seeking an Equipment Sales Specialist to promote and generate sales of dental equipment within a defined territory. You will work with other sales professionals to identify, qualify, and close deals, coordinate installations, and manage new or remodeled office design projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in any related field and 3–5 years of B2B outside sales; strong initiative and customer-service focus; excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; and a

3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Dental industry experience preferred.
Strong initiative with customer service, planning and organization skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Drive profitable sales growth across multiple equipment categories.
Develop relationships with Doctors and key practice staff.
Execute cold call strategies to acquire new accounts and generate referrals.
Plan, coordinate, and schedule events such as demonstrations and co-travels.
Prepare for sales visits and develop sales strategies.
Coordinate with other Patterson sales professionals to demonstrate and sell equipment and technology.
Provide post-sale support and monitor customer satisfaction.
Consult with customers on real estate agents and other service providers.
