Job summary

Henry Schein is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to provide on-site repair and installation services in the New York area. You will work with Lead Technicians to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include completing service tasks, maintaining van inventory, and submitting detailed reports. Some travel and training participation are required; OSHA guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Typically 2+ years of field service experience.
• Basic mechanical background with customer service experience.
• High school education with vocational training or on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Provides repair services to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provides and maintains necessary tools for installation and repair services.
• Completes on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks under supervision.
• Follows troubleshooting steps to diagnose errors and determine solutions.
• Interprets customer requirements and makes recommendations to improve the experience.
• Manages van inventory and submits timely service reports.
• Attends Henry Schein training and manufacturer technical training.
• Complies with OSHA regulations and uses PPE as required.
• Communicates progress to team members and dispatchers; closes work orders daily.
