Job summary

SEARHC seeks a Clinical Informaticist to bridge clinical practice with information technology, ensuring staff can use the EHR effectively. The role includes training, system maintenance, and identifying opportunities for improvements to optimize workflows and comply with healthcare standards.

The CI will collaborate with clinicians, IT, and other stakeholders to collect requirements, configure systems, and deliver end-user support. Occasional travel to SEARHC sites (<25%) is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of higher education in healthcare, technology, or related field; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with informatics, access management, and training is preferred.
• Clinical informatics experience with EHRs and workflows is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing informatics solutions and support existing systems for staff and patients.
• Provide ongoing training and support to healthcare staff for efficient EHR use.
• Develop educational materials and training sessions for end-users.
• Identify and resolve issues related to clinical software applications to minimize disruption.
