Job summary
SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium is seeking a Clinical Informaticist to bridge clinical practice and information technology. You will train staff, support EHR usage, and help optimize workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance.
The role requires collaboration with clinicians and IT professionals across SEARHC locations, with occasional on-call needs for after-hours support.
Qualifications
- 2 years of healthcare, technology, or related field education required; bachelor's preferred.
- Informatics, access management, and/or training experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records and clinical workflows is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing informatics solutions and support existing systems.
- Provide ongoing training and support to healthcare staff for EHR use.
- Develop educational materials and training sessions for end-users.
- Identify and resolve issues with clinical software applications to minimize disruption.
- Test, implement, and maintain informatics solutions and decision-support tools.
- Collaborate with clinicians and IT to tailor informatics to needs.
- Participate in on-call rotation for night/weekend support.
