Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston seeks a Clinical Class Manager to oversee dental education, patient care coordination, and administrative operations for a cohort of students. You will guide EPIC EHR use, ensure compliance with CDM policies, and coordinate scheduling and referrals across the college.

You will support Continuing Quality Improvement through chart reviews, student education, and process improvements, partnering with billing and information solutions teams

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma with 5 years in business management, public administration or administrative services.
• Or a bachelor's degree with 3 years in business management, public administration or administrative services.

Responsibilities

• 30%: Manages college-wide scheduling and coordination for multi-disciplinary patient care and treatment planning.
• Schedules and processes patient dismissals for faculty, students and residents; sends dismissal letters after failed contact attempts.
• Reviews external referrals to ensure proper scheduling and care coordination.
• Uses EPIC EHR guidance while supervising education, documentation standards and payment procedures.
• Manages graduation requirements and exit exams with students.
