Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (CDM Dental Teaching Clinic) seeks a Clinical Class Manager to oversee education, patient care coordination and administrative operations for dental students. You will ensure competency attainment and adherence to CDM policies, while coordinating scheduling, referrals and dismissals to support comprehensive patient care.

You will guide EPIC EHR use, support CQI initiatives, and collaborate with billing, IT and patient service teams to streamline processes.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma with five years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or a bachelor's degree and three years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
• Must be able to manage scheduling, patient referrals, dismissals and multi-disciplinary treatment planning.
• Experience with EPIC EHR and adherence to documentation and payment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manages college-wide departmental scheduling and coordination for multi-disciplinary patient care and treatment planning.
• Verifies patient competency requirements and coordinates exit/dismissal processes.
• Educates students on EPIC functionality, documentation and billing processes.
• Trains staff and faculty on policies, regulations and program requirements.
• Advises students on professional conduct and patient management.
