Job summary

Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee clinical operations, supervise staff, and ensure patient-focused care across university clinics. The role interfaces with residents, faculty, and patients to maintain smooth scheduling, billing, and records management.

Responsibilities include supervising clerical and clinical teams, coordinating appointments in Axium, reviewing treatment plans and payments, and generating weekly reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years related experience or dental assistant training and certificate.
• Radiology certification from PA and CPR certification required.
• Equivalency may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Orthodontic Assistant staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Serve as primary contact for patient concerns and care-related issues.
• Coordinate patient dismissal process for non-compliance.
• Schedule appointments in Axium and verify patient charts.
• Manage billing, insurance forms and patient payments.
• Prepare and present periodic clinic reports.
